Benchmark Testing: March 2 – 8th Science

March 3 – 8th Social Studies

March 8 – 7th/8th Math

March 9 – 7th/8th Reading

* Students with zero hour at Lamar will go to Lamar first for zero hour all four days.  Students with zero hour at Shackelford will have zero hour on March 2 & 3, but will not have zero hour on March 8 & 9.

Five Dollar Fridays:  We are having a Fundraiser during the month of March.  Students may purchase a wrist band for $5.00 and have free dress on Fridays.  We can’t wait to see their individual style shine.  Students must still follow the AISD dress code.

Spring Break: March 14-18

Shack Chick Fil A Spirit Night:  March 25

Open House + PTA meeting is next Tuesday, 3/8 from 6-7:30pm (6-6:30 for meeting and 6:30-7:30 for open house).

The meeting will include election of the Executive Board for the 2022-23 school year. The Shack PTA’s nominating committee would like to present the following slate of officers for election. Please note that there are MANY open positions. If you have not already, please consider a position on the board. Thank you!
