| It’s time for Shackelford Junior High PTA Nominations for next year! We have had record attendance at most of our events this year and we are hoping to continue on that trend next school year. We need Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles help in doing so. | The Shackelford PTA Nominating Committee will be working on the slate of officers for the upcoming school year. We encourage all parents of current 6th and 7th grade students to participate.
If you are interested in serving in any of the positions listed below, please complete the form by February 28th, 2022. If you have a strong preference for a position, please indicate that choice. If you do not have a preference, simply check the positions you would consider. Board positions require membership to the PTA. Board meetings are one hour in length, once a month. There are three General Board Meeting dates: two in the fall, one in the spring. PTA Leadership Training Orientation is mandatory once every 5 years and must be completed to serve on the board within the first year. If you have experience that you believe would be helpful to the committee in evaluating your request, please include that information on this form.
